Vriendelike diens. Ons het ons kuier vreeslik geniet. Esme en Bronwyn het ons vriendelik verwelkom. Die kos by die "Sisters" restaurant is heerlik en die diens is puik. Ons beveel Cozy Corner aan vir enige paartjie.

Terrible. False advertisement. Place not the same as description. Terrible. We came on Friday after 3, no power, later power came on, 2 hours later there was no power. My girls and my wife couldn't even bath, no hot water, jacuzzi not even heating up. Well, the water wasn't even clean, dirt all around the jacuzzi. The next morning my wife insisted on a refund but was completely ignored. They insisted we have a look at the upper level at a better unit and wanted to upgrade us, with some hassle we agreed on the upgraded unit as promised. By 10 in the morning we would have had power and could use the jacuzzi and my kids could have a warm bath, but around 13h00 there wasn't power at all and I asked them to refund met immediately, but they still ignored us. My wife phoned and asked them to refund her for the Saturday's stay as we will not spend one more night at this place, she doesn't have the decency to tell us that she has no money but rather decided to drop the phone in my wife's ear. The advertising is false, there is nothing, in the advertisement it says that this is a 4-story unit with flats where the unit is between old people this is actually an old age home. Kids must go to sleep at 8, there is no like in no DStv Compact. The unit is not on the floor or private, you can't even go fishing without driving out of the premises to the municipality grounds to go fishing, your kids cannot come and go from the unit where you can see them because of all the stairs. None of this is mentioned in the advertisement. Before we booked the place, we phoned and asked whether there is access to the water from the chalets, the answers were yes and it's like 60 meters from the unit, there is a lot for kids to do, but there is nothing for kids. Kids must sit in an old age home and be in bed, no noise at night, not even talking on the stairs. This is a joke, will not recommend it to anyone. On Saturday when we asked for a refund and was ignored, I told them I'm not leaving without my cash as they received cash from me. When I sent my wife to pack up all our things, they locked the door inside with access to the unit with all our things and personal things in the unit, so there is no privacy. And told my wife she is sorry she thought we checked out already. Well, this was and is the worst place ever, the bedding isn't clean, smells bad, there is no cutlery for 8 people as the unit takes 8 to 9 people. We had to wait Friday night for each other to finish eating so we could use each other's knives. 3 glasses, 4 mugs. Communication is bad. No, no, no. Never again. Never. Bad.

Worst place ever! Not as advertised. They spoke of a Villa, but it's a block of flats! Ad says the Cosy Corner has a 180-degree outlook on the dam which is not true. Fridge was not working and the flat we stayed in (Cosy Corner) had 4 additional access doors that were locked. Upon arrival, Esme told us not to leave the key in the door in case they need to access the flat. They apparently use one of the rooms in the flat as a lounge (private use for them). The place smelled of pee and the bed is probably a cheap brand and 20 years old. Super uncomfortable. We booked for 4 nights but only stayed 2 nights. Could not take it any longer. Plus we had to pay an additional R350 per night to use the Jacuzzi and we had to buy our own power! They gave us 50 units for a 4-night stay. In the ad, they spoke of a bush shower - what a joke. Worst place ever!

Good day, Stefan Thank you for the feedback of your booking experience. There was no mention of the issues while your stay as they could have been addressed immediately. The complete description of the accommodation and facilities is shown for guests to read and to get an idea of the property. The access doors, our design on the complex's top floor, are modular so the doors are double, inter-leading accesses so we can open them where necessary when we have a large group or family booking. Thank you for your constructive criticism, we are sorry that you seem disappointed in your stay. We are surprised at your value for money comment as the apartment accommodates 6 but you were only 4 but could of increased your numbers at no extra cost (we also gave a 30 % discount and charged for no extra electricity). We are, however, unclear about your specific comment about the photos of Tree Tops - which you insisted on staying in despite our offer to upgrade you to the penthouse apartment at no extra cost. The reason for our offer was due to the uncharacteristically icy weather we experienced last weekend. Perhaps the weather also contributed to your low rating of 'location', since we are right at the water which, as was the case last weekend, has it's down side! However, your rating re security is our biggest concern as we are proud to advertise that while it's impossible (especially in SA), to be crime-free, we at Vaal Delta have had zero reports of crime. We would be pleased if you could clarify. Many thanks.

We were sorry to hear about your disappointment in our jacuzzi and you may look forward to a full refund for payment thereof. It is a very large jacuzzi, especially for just two people. That amount of water may take a long time to heat if the weather changes, as it did last weekend. Different people like to jacuzzi at different temperatures so room temp in summer is often adequate. As I said, in this case, your water would have felt cooler when the weather changed than what it was in fact. (We checked the thermostat the following day and warmed the water to 30 degrees. We noted from your electricity usage that the jacuzzi wasn’t run for the extended period that is required when it gets cold, although we admit it’s sometimes difficult for guests to gauge when they are unfamiliar with that specific jacuzzi operation. We will now produce an instruction sheet for future visitors. We did leave it set to room temp as you arrived during the daytime and, no, generally we are not available thereafter as your apartment is fully self-catering. Unfortunately, you only stayed for one night, we generally recommend minimum two nights to minimize such experiences and maximize enjoyment of stay, especially when we are having a festival as was the case during your weekend.

Die akkommodasie het nie aan my behoeftes voldoen nie. Die webtuiste dui aan dat die akkommodasie troeteldiervriendelik is. Dit mag dalk beteken dat troeteldiere welkom is, maar die akkommodasie is nie geskik troeteldiervriendelik nie. Die eenheid is geleë op die derde verdieping van die woonstelblok met 6 stelle smal staaltrappe. Waar moet die arme diere nou hulle nood verlig gedurende die nag?
