Wonderlike huis met goeie fasiliteite. Villa del Mar was 'n wonderlike ondervinding vir ons. Die huis was groter en mooier as wat ons verwag het, en het 'n wonderlike vloei gehad. Die huis was modern en die swembad, jacuzzi en elektroniese media fasiliteite was wonderlik. Halfpad deur ons verblyf het die eienaar ons gekontak om te hoor of alles reg is aan ons kant, en ons het dit baie waardeer. Ons sal die huis sterk aanbeveel.

Lieflike villa het alles. Mooi moderne plek, heerlike geriewe en goeie kommunikasie. Sal vir seker aanbeveel, groot kombuis, binnebraai, swembad en jacuzzi was wenners.

Awesome. We had a very enjoyable stay. The owner was exceptionally accommodating, and the process was effortless.

We had a lovely weekend at Villa Del Mar. There were one or two snags, but Laurence was great and responded immediately. The cleaning service did not provide toilet rolls in the house, but Laurence has undertaken to speak to them about this. He has also agreed to attend to the Jacuzzi which did not reach optimum temperature. It would also be helpful if there were a few more cleaning aids in the kitchen - perhaps a mop and some good quality washing up liquid.

Villa del Mar is a stunning house, however there were a few downfalls after arrival. The outdoor lights where the pool and jaccuzzi are situated do not work, so we hardly sat outside at night because it was way too dark. Too little dirt bags and toilet rolls were given for the number of days we had booked for. There is an alarm that was very complicated. The jaccuzzi wasn't heating up, I contacted the landlord and a video was sent, and we eventually got it right. The main heated pool was cold for the 4 days we spent there. We received a long email after payments had been made with rules and regulations which some I was okay with and others that were not to my liking.

Hi Zayaan thanks for your feedback. I wished you had discussed the issues with me prior to checking in or at the time. I did come out to fix the wifi and tv which was as a result of your children pulling all the plugs out to play games. The light unfortunately was a bulb issue . I believe two rolls is toilet paper per bathroom sufficient. Two black bags should last a week as this is what municipality will collect

From the beginning when the owner mixed up the booking dates and we had to check in a day late, this experience was a disaster. The owner confirmed with website our change of dates but the day before when he sent an sms I realised he had us checking in a day late. The address on the website says 122 Disa Road but the house is at 3996 Disa Road. I had to request a location. The house is nice but had not been cleaned properly. There were no cleaning products available, an old mop and no bucket to use with the mop. 1 toilet roll per toilet and 6 dishwasher tabs for 8 people - 6 days. The first evening the gas ran out while I was cooking dinner with food on the stove. When I messaged the owner he said he would come and check in the morning. When I replied that I was cooking dinner his reply was "Excuse me!". The spa pool went green and the outside rubbish bin was so full that we had nowhere to put our rubbish bags. When I messaged the owner his reply was sorry the house is not serviced and that we have to buy our own cleaning products. The day before check out was stage 6 loadshedding and the morning of check out the power was off until 8am. It was impossible to check out by 10am and get all of the dishes done, house cleaned and packed. The owner complained that I had not requested a late check out and sent harassing messages while we were busy trying to pack and clean up. I would not recommend this house to anyone wanting a hassle free holiday. Most of the the kitchen things are either broken or missing parts, the inside and outside furniture is stained and the neighbours were partying until the early hours of the morning.

This guest was highly upset by the change of dates incident on her booking, which was caused jointly by the booking platform and me, not confirming that the booking platform had changed the dates on her booking in the calendar, which they had not. As a result and from the beginning she was hostile and aggressive. She behaved badly, being abusive and aggressive to me, my neighbour who tried to help, and the co-host of this property during her stay. I believe this review is a malicious and personal attack on me, and aimed to cause damage to the reputation and well-being of the business and has nothing to do with the property. I have been hosting at this property for two and a half years and hosted one hundred and eight guests. I currently have a 4.9-star ad 9.7-star ranking on other platforms. You can see the reviews on this site also are exemplary. In preparing for guests, we have the same staff and use the same check-in and check-out protocol for all guests. Cleaning materials, linen, towels, hand towels, toilet paper and paper towels are all provided. Two toilet rolls per bathroom and sunlight liquid, Handy Andy and 1 dishwashing tablet per day are provided, with two black bags. The Verimark broom and mop plus bucket are always in the cupboard. We provide enough of the essentials for the period of your stay. Yes, the guest contacted me the day before check out insisting on me resupplying the house with all cleaning materials. Her statement was “she wasn’t prepared to spend any money on these items as at the exorbitant price this should be included”. This made no sense and I at the time suggested that if she wanted the house serviced, I would get someone at a fee of R350 for the day. Indeed, the gas did run out after 22:00 one evening and I suggested that I come first thing in the morning to replace it. When she stated she was needing to cook at 22:20 in the evening, I went over and replaced it with my neighbour within 15 minutes, and exchanged it within 15 minutes, I would like any guest reading this review to look at all the other reviews to realise that this one is unlike all the other impeccable reviews I have received before and after this guest. In fact, the guests after her have booked again for December this year. The guest further refused to communicate with me regarding check out and finally vacated the premises at 12:22 knowing another guest was checking in at 15:00 and knowing that they should have vacated at 10:00. I was ignored totally. Her behaviour at check out was extremely rude and obnoxious towards my neighbour. I believe her statements are false, defamatory, and libellous and totally devoid of truth.

Tranquil, such a spoil to just get away from the hustle and buzz of the city. The house was big and spacious, very tech savvy. There is more than enough space for 8 people. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the property was safe for our small dog.
