PAYMENT

All charges by the hospital, therapists and doctors are according to the BHF (Medical Schemes) Scale of Benefits. If the patient is a member of a medical scheme and the services are fully covered fully by the Medical Scheme, all costs will be paid. Many schemes do however demand co-payments or have limits on certain services. The hospital submits accounts directly to medical schemes, but the patient remains responsible for payment should their medical scheme not pay an account for whatever reason. The hospital can, under certain circumstances, make arrangements for credit facilities.
