The Cape Town Science Centre is a fascinating educational facility located in Observatory, Cape Town. The venue has a range of interesting exhibits, including a train set, giant chess set, life sized replica of Mark Shuttleworth’s space capsule, Lego room, and a big revolving wheel that you can ride.

The holiday programmes are just as exciting with activities like building robots, extracting DNA from onions, and competitions to see who can build the tallest tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows. Its a great way to keep your kids entertained, while still keeping their bodies and minds active in a fun setting. Favourite exhibitis include the human gyroscope, Puzzling Things exhibit, and the WCED Inflatable Planetarium.
