Description
Hillcrest High School is a co-ed public high school in Hillcrest, Durban. The school caters for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12 and has over 1000 students. Hillcrest High School has appeared in the Sunday Times’ Top 100 Schools in South Africa.
HERITAGE
Hillcrest High School began as Hillcrest Primary School where Grade 8 and Grade 9 classes were held for several years. In January 1976, the high school opened its doors to 276 students and 18 members of staff.
ACADEMICS
The school motto is Adspirat Fortuna Labori which means "Fortune Favours Endeavour".
