Hog Hollow Horse Trails
Description
Hog Hollow Horse Trails offer trails on horseback and in the comfort of a horse drawn carriage on the Garden Route. Hog Hollow Horse Trails work with a herd of 33 rescue horses and these horses not only do trails and carriage trails, the older horses also do valuable work with building trust in children from the local township in their social involvement programme.
Horseback:
Groups of 32 can be catered to, dividing the groups into 8 riders accompanied by 2 guides, riding to animal sanctuaries, wine farms and a picnic at the Kurland Estate. Rides can be 2 hours, half a day or a full day long.
Carriage:
A Vintage Horse Drawn Carriage, can accommodate up to 16 people and is based at Kay and Monty Wine Estate, offering 3 products:
A 30 minute wine tasting trail and vineyard stop on Kay and Monty Wine Estate.
A 1 hour wine, olive, olive oil, bread, honeybush tasting plus a cellar tour.
A 2 hour wine tasting and lunch option which includes the above mentioned tasting experience and cellar tour plus a delectable tapas style lunch.
