Jubilee Creek Picnic Site
Description
Jubilee Creek is a fantastic family picnic spot nestled within Goudveld Forest on the banks of a little stream outside Knysna in the Western Cape. As the name implies, gold was discovered in the area in 1876, providing an element of mystery for those picnicking in the area.
With scenic rock pools, a waterfall, and braai area, as well as picnic sites in the forest and next to the stream, there is plenty to do and see here. The Jubilee Creek 3km walk leads to a waterfall and swimming hole. Permits are obtainable from the Goudveld entrance gate at Bibby's Hoek.
