Kelly’s Beach is a fantastic Blue Flag beach located in Port Alfred in the heart of the Eastern Cape’s Sunshine Coast. The 400m long beach is set just 1.5km from the Kowie River estuary mouth and its famous quays, offering some of the most idyllic scenery in the country. The warm waters of the Indian Ocean provide the perfect conditions for water sport enthusiasts, from surfers to body boarders, who make this stretch of coastline their playground.

Kelly’s Beach is one of South Africa’s most prestigious Blue Flag beaches with 5-star facilities including ablutions, lifeguard services, and boogie boards for hire. There are also two viewing decks that offer spectacular vantage points for beach-goers to watch the swimmers, whales, dolphins, and summer sunsets.
