The Wave House located at Gateway’s Theatre of Shopping is a fantastic spot for the whole family. Its boasts two simulated waves known as Flow Riders which combine elements of surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and skating all in one. These simulated waves are perfect for beginners, and there are professional instructors on-hand at all times. There are also 7 water slides, including the 15m two-lane speed racers; 2 medium tubes; a 180m Spaghetti Junction Supertube (the highest in South Africa); and 2 baby racers.

You will also find South Africa’s biggest skate park – a 4 000 m² park designed by skating world-champion, Tony hawk, as well as the world’s highest indoor climbing wall at 22.5m high. Local and international artists are hosted in the Concert Arena and there are boardrooms and function rooms for corporate events and children’s birthday parties. A variety of bars are available as well as a restaurant with a wrap-around deck overlooking the action from above.
