Description
Andrew Rabie High School is a public co-ed school in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The school is an Afrikaans medium high school with a Christian ethos. The school caters for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12 and has over 438 students.
HERITAGE
Andrew Rabie High School was originally known as High Adcockvale and was established in January 1953. The first principal was Mr Dinks Van Zyl. The new and current school building was taken over in 1955 and the name of the school was changed to Andrew Rabie High School.
ACADEMICS
The three main elements of the school badge are Christ, quest and performance, and diligence. The laurel wreath of the school badge is a symbol of achievement which fits in with the school motto: “only the best!”
