King's Park And Zoo

King's Park and Zoo is centred on Loch Logan on the outskirts of Bloemfontein, Free State. King's Park has beautiful green lawns with dappled shade and well maintained beds nestled around the lake. The small zoo is the parks biggest draw card.

Another interesting attraction the park has to offer is the famous Bloemfontein Zoo which houses lions, tigers, elephants, wild dogs, and a large primate collection. Here you may also get the rare chance to see a Liger - a cross between a tiger and a lion.

The Kings Park is a lovely day out for the whole family so come relax and enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Admire over 4000 rose bushes to admire, or attend the arts and crafts market held on the first Saturday of every month.
