"Hibberdene has visibly improved over the last 3 years since 2014. Now there was less litter in the bushes, less rubbish on the streets, less buds on the grass near the beach, and the behaviour of people making use of the benches and tables overlooking the beach has improved. Three years ago the situation was near intolerable and as a result Gladiator Security, a local security company, was then patrolling on the beach at night. Showers in the change rooms at the beach were not working now which is a pity. Beach stewards employed as part of Blue Flag Beach project are now making a difference at the beach. "
"Daar is wonderlike eetplekkies en strande om te verken. Sowat 3 km van Calamari af is 'n pragtige skoenlapperplaas. Margate se strand is net 20 minute se vinnige stap strandlangs. "
"Die strand is die beste strand waar ek nog was, veral as jy kinders het. Die strand loop egalig in die see in. Daar is 'n restaurant reg op die strand en dit is nooit te vol nie. Ons gaan nog elke jaar soontoe en sal definitief weer na Uvongo teruggaan."

Soleil South Coast"Great town. All amenities are close by. The sea and beach are better than Durban. Lots of rock pools along beaches."
"Dit sal lekker wees as Margate se swembad reg was om in te swem. Margate se akwarium was ook buite werking. Om Margate 'n beter toeristebestemming te maak, stel ek voor hulle kyk daarna. Ons wil in die water speel, vissies sien ens. Hulle moet die plek weer 'n bietjie opkikker."
"Die pragtige Blouvlagstrand kry nie te veel besoekers nie, die see is gewoonlik nie koud en ontstuimig nie. Met laaggety is dit redelik veilig om in die getypoel te swem. Ons is nie bewus van enige misdaad op die strand nie. "

Saints Cottage"Dit is jammer dat strand nie altyd rustig is nie as gevolg van die doef-doef musiek. "
