"I was very disappointment to arrive in Clarens, only to realise that not a single restaurant caters for vegans. I specifically chose Clarens because I read on another site that 10 restaurants offers vegan on their menu. There is a big difference between vegetarian and vegan (although their vegetarian was also limited). Upon saying the word vegan in most of the places I walked in to, to enquire, I was also met with that all telling annoyed glare from restaurant staff. I do suggest that these places correct their websites and what they state that they have available, because false advertising is just going to shoot you in the foot! Luckily, however, Bethlehem did make quite a bit of money off me this weekend, as that was the only place I could get vegan food. You know what they say, it doesn't matter how gorgeous a place is, if you can't feed the paying customers, you'll be out of business soon enough."
