Description

Heuwelsig Cottages and Franschhoek Camping is located about 5 kilometres from Franschhoek, at the foot of the Franschhoek Mountains. The property offers farm-style accommodation with views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.

Accommodation consists of three self-catering cottages and ten camping sites. The cottages are furnished with king-size beds and include en-suite bathrooms, a kitchen or kitchenette, smart TV with Netflix, Wi-Fi, a private entrance and secure parking. Linen and towels are provided, and the property has solar backup to supply lighting during load shedding. The camping area includes eight individually fenced sites with private ablutions and two sites with shared ablution facilities. Each campsite accommodates 2 adults and is set on grass with a gazebo for shade. Campsites offer electrical points, water taps, portable braai facilities and Wi-Fi at a hotspot. Solar backup is available at the ablutions during load shedding.

On-site facilities include an eco-pool and the option to rent Kol Kol hot tubs by prior arrangement. Secure parking is available on the premises. The property is located close to activities such as horse riding, fishing, bird watching, wine tasting, cycling, guided walks and mountain biking in and around the Franschhoek area.
