Heuwelsig Cottages and Franschhoek Camping offer lavish, self-catering cottages and boutique-style camping sites, with a farm ambience, breathtaking views, and memorable sunsets, just 5 km outside the well-known village of Franschhoek.
Set in a unique location, against the shade of the Franschhoek Mountains, the accommodation comprises luxurious self-catering cottages and separately fenced campsites, each with private ablutions and campsites, with newly built, shared ablution.
All self-catering units are equipped with comfortable king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms, a kitchen or kitchenette loft, a smart TV with Netflix only, Wi-Fi, a private entrance, and secure parking. We offer 80% solar backup, and the lights will be on during load shedding.
The campsite is designed for motorhomes, but small caravans (no double axle) and rooftop tents are welcome. Our campsites can accommodate 2 adults each, are situated on grass, and have a built-in gazebo for shade. They offer private ablutions, electrical points, a water tap, portable BBQ facilities (bring own grid), and Wi-Fi at the hotspot. Solar backup is available at the ablutions only during load shedding.
Some campsites are for adults only, so please confirm before making a reservation. Children are allowed by special arrangement only and must be 10 years or older. The maximum stay for camping is 7 days.
To cool down on hot summer days, there is a sparkling, fenced, eco-friendly pool at the bottom of the garden. Guests are also welcome to rent the KolKol hot tub, however, this needs to be arranged with the host 24 hours in advance. The guests are afforded safe parking.
