"We found Clanwilliam to be a wonderful town. Clean and well laid out with all the amenities one would need for a self-catering holiday. Restaurants and interesting places (such as Rooibos tasting house), are plentiful and classy. The end of August Flower Show in the church hall is spectacular. Friendly community. Clanwilliam is really well situated for day trip access to Namakwa fields of daisies, wine tasting, and the beautiful towns along the West Coast of the Cape Province."

A must is to take a cruise through the Tradouw pass, stop at the Stonehaven Nature Reserve and walk to the rock pools, take a dip if its warm enough.
