"Such a gorgeous little coastal town, with friendly people and the best Spar in South Africa! Nearby attractions if you want to go for a quick drive, but also close enough to Cape Town to just go there quickly."
"It's an interesting little town, but there are many lovely things to do!"
"Cape Town is beautiful and as a South African it feels as though you are visiting a different country. The nature and views are spectacular. The only downsides are the drivers and the food. The restaurants are incredibly overpriced and not a good representation of the quality food that South Africa has to offer. Johannesburg definitely has the best restaurants in the country."
"A first-time visitor to McGregor. This is a great destination. We will definitely go back. Some of the best wines we've tasted and purchased."
"If you are into wine remember to visit De Krans (the Agri opposite the road sells the most delicious ostrich dried wors) and Boplaas in Calitzdorp. 7km outside Oudtshoorn we came across the outstanding Karoo Lusern Butchery. Just after our visit, they won the Cleaver award for best butchery in Western Cape! Between Calitzdorp and Zoar on R62 be sure to visit Seweweekspoort and drive it until you get to the split-in gravel road for Laingsburg. Remember to taste the water there! It's sweet and crystal clear. Between Zoar and Ladysmith is the beautiful Hoeko Valley with its grape vines, fruit trees and poplars. Especially stunning as it changes into autumn colours. So many hidden gems on the R62, it begs for another visit."
"There are quite a few activities to do, zipline over the ocean, go for a hike on the trail, putt-putt, and a lot of places to visit"
"Langebaan is a safe and peaceful haven for tourists. That entire West Coast area is my favourite spot and Langebaan is a perfect location."
"Convenient shopping mall. Traditional Boere Musiek Fees attract people from all over."
