Description
White Sands Lodge and Camping, is situated directly at Popa Falls on the banks of the Okavango River, surrounded by magnificent trees and shrubs. The campsites are suitable for big/small tents as well as cars with roof tents, campers, caravans and overlanders. The new constructed main road is suitable for all kinds of vehicles and buses.
Each site offers a thatched kitchen and cooking space, braai faclities, a wooden deck, power points, electricity, an ablution block with showers and river views. On request, we can also cater to breakfast and lunch.
We offer access to viewers and guests for several striking views directly at the Popa Falls. We also have an astounding landscape with 400 types of fascinating birds and wildlife and overlooking the most powerful Okavango River.
Relax with a drink and snacks on our beach overlooking the falls and river, or enjoy a boat cruise with spectacular views of the most beautiful surroundings of the river, trees, and bushes. Spot hippos and crocodiles swimming in the river, birds singing and calling each other in the background, hunt for their catch of the day, or building a nest on the banks of the river.
