Adventurous, remote, beautiful and clean. Great location, does not feel like you are on a farm or near a town. Next to a river and a good place to relax. The best part for me was that there was no reception, but there is electricity and solar light. Toilets and shower are available, shared of course if there are other guests. The host is so helpful and friendly; they will make sure that you are settled well. A high clearance vehicle is a good idea, 4x4 if you will. It is pet friendly too. Very lovely place, definitely going back.

Great breakaway from the city. Enjoyed our stay over Xmas. Peaceful, quiet, clean ablution facilities, plenty of places to walk and view. Owners were amazing and friendly, always stopping for a quick chat or checking if everything was okay. The best part was not having signal - a lovely break away from the buzzing city life.

Rus en kalmte. Wat 'n aangename verrassing, die mooiste natuur gevind weggesteek agter die koppe. Die gasheer en gasvrou doen soveel moeite. Elke dag by elke kamp plek om te hoor kort iemand iets, maak asblikke skoon, dra braaiers aan. Ons sal definitief aanbeveel, en sal definitief terugkeer.

Beautiful nature stay. Lovely spot, the water was a bit low but we still took the boat down the river and enjoyed the campsite. Facilities were well looked after and we didn't feel like we were lacking anything.

Very peaceful. It was quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. We had awesome swims in the river. Mias was very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Value for money, peaceful and rustic. We were lucky to have a tree next to where we camped; there isn't much shade available. The ablutions were great, with very hot water from a donkey all the time. Water, ice and wood supplied by the hosts are cheap and readily available. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. This campsite is rustic, so don't expect luxury, but the facilities work, it is very quiet and peaceful, and the birdlife is great. Be ready to see cows and sheep passing nearby the campsites, which is something special, I think. It is a very dry time of the year there, but I think in better weather conditions this is an excellent choice.

Nice owners, spacious, great views, no cell reception, located in a valley. Very nice and spacious campsite. Right next to a river that you can swim in. Bit of a long drive on a dirt road for people who don't have a 4x4. Very limited cell reception, which is great if you want to disconnect for a bit. Owners are incredibly helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed spending Christmas time here with our friends.
