ArtistCafe

ArtistCafe is situated in Hendriksdal, Mpumalanga. This beautiful restaurant and guest house was originally a Railway station in the 1920’s, but later became abandoned before being converted into its present form. The establishment has received international acclaim as an Italian trattoria (eatery).

Though luxury isn’t first and foremost here, the rustic setting and beautiful rooms are well worth the visit. Many local artists have their work displayed around the property in the form of murals and paintings. All the bedrooms open onto large verandas, with views of the blue-gum plantation and pine trees.
