Situated “off the beaten track” in a magnificent valley surrounded by the spectacular Langeberg mountains, African Game Lodge offers a restful break from the city. It is located just 2.5 hours from Cape Town and 30 minutes from the quaint town of Montagu. Bush and Beyond: 10 – 12 December 201 and 2 – 4 April 2013
Day 1: Check into chalet or camping site. Bush Talk and “Bring and Braai” evening (braai packs available).
Day 2: Guided nature walk, bush picnic, afternoon leisure, and potjie dinner in the boma.
Day 3: Family Bush Challenge.

Day 1: Check in and enjoy a taste of Nacht Musiek. Talk on nocturnal creatures, welcome dinner, and Night Skies activity.

Ancient Ways: 11 – 13 March 2013
Day 1: Check in and enjoy a bush tea-based drink, introductory talk on the San Bushmen and rock art of the area, and welcome dinner of local fare.
Day 2: Breakfast, field trip to wilderness area and bushmen paintings with packed lunch, short guided walk to look at medicinal and edible plants the Khoi may have used, and supper under the stars.
Day 3: Breakfast, and identifying spoor and tracking.
