Summer and cricket go bat in hand, so you may have already heard rumours about the newest and hottest social cricket event that is sure to bowl a few maidens over in just 9 days’ time. The Momentum Cricket Sixes is taking place on 14 December 2013 at the Claremont Cricket Club in Cape Town, and will be hosted by cricket legends Graeme Smith, Mark Boucher, and Justin Kemp!

The event is set to be like nothing the South African cricket scene has seen before. From the VIP Style Lounge, you can watch 12 cricket teams take to the field with SA cricket superstars such as AB de Villiers, Morne Morkel, Dale Steyn, and Gary Kirsten.  What better way to enjoy the summer sunshine than with the spectacular view of Table Mountain from the Claremont Cricket Club whilst you enjoy live jazz and a performance by electro swing band, GoodLuck. Put your most fashionable foot forward with the “Summer Vintage” dress theme – think black and white, big hats, and a splash of colour. And, of course, who can enjoy a day of cricket without delicious food and beverages served throughout the day?!

In an exciting announcement, there will also be a rugby legend team, including South African rugby players Bob Skinstad and Hottie Louw, which will go head to head with the cricket legends in the spirit of action, rivalry, and fun.
