Situated in the Highveld, Gauteng has a lot to offer both locals and tourists. It’s a hub of activity at any given time, which lends to the metropolitan city vibe, although there are plenty of nature reserves and parks to escape to for tranquillity.

Below is the first part of our series “Through the Eyes of Locals”. Feel free to send in some of your Gauteng photographs, and if they’re really good, we’ll include them in our follow-up blog post.
